What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 4 PM on your arrival day, and check-out is by 10 AM on your departure day. This gives us enough time to prepare the cottage between guests.
What’s your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel, let us know at least 14 days before your check-in date for a full refund.
How many guests does the cottage sleep?
3but1 sleeps up to four adults (1 double bed, 1 sofa bed and 1 single bed), plus a travel cot for a younger child. We’re happy to be flexible on the number of children and infants — just let us know your group when you enquire and we can confirm it’ll be a comfortable fit.
Is a cot available?
Yes, we provide a travel cot for younger children at no extra cost — just mention it when you book.
Where do we park?
The cottage sits directly on School Hill Road, so you’ll use the front door to come and go. Parking is on the road, normally about 100 yards away. The village can get busy at peak times, but we rarely have an issue finding a space nearby.
Is there WiFi?
Yes, WiFi is available throughout the cottage at 30mbps+, which comfortably handles home working and streaming. Mobile signal inside the cottage is weak, so WhatsApp or FaceTime over WiFi work best for calls.
How do I pay?
You can pay in full at the time of booking, or pay a deposit now with the remaining balance due later. Payment can be made by bank transfer, or by cash on arrival for return guests by agreement.
Can I book via Airbnb as well as your website?
Yes — we take bookings both directly through our website and via Airbnb. Our online calendar shows live availability across both.
My dates aren’t showing as available — what can I do?
Send us your dates via the Contact Us page and we’ll see what we can do to accommodate you, or hold your details in case of a cancellation. We also normally leave at least one day between bookings for changeover, so if your dates are close to an existing booking, just ask — we may be able to speed things up.
